Bucky Cheese
The concept behind Bucky Cheese was developed in the summer of 1995.
The Badgers were recently victorious in the Rose Bowl, and the market
had suddenly become saturated with every type of University of
Wisconsin memorabilia and trinket imaginable-except for the obvious-cheese.
It made sense to put together two of the most recognizable images of Wisconsin-cheddar
cheese and Bucky Badger-into one very unique product. With some hard work
and ingenuity, Jeff Karll created Bucky Cheese. Utilizing the experienced
resources of Jim's Cheese Pantry in Waterloo, "The Cheese Cut Out Capital
of the World", the two parties joined together to produce these wonderful
cheese creations. Where else can you find cheese in the shape of a Badger?
These officially licensed products are participants in the "Something
Special From Wisconsin" program, and are available in many specialty cheese
stores throughout the state, and have been shipped to UW fans throughout
the country.
