Expert Jewelry Repair & Design opened its doors in June of 2001. After over 30 years of being a manufacturing bench jeweler, doing the repair and designing for 41 retail jewelry stores, Gary Stein, founder of Expert Jewelry Repair & Design decided to open a store of his own. Gary opened the store with 3 principles in mind: 1. To open a store where customers can talk directly with the goldsmith who will actually be doing the work on their jewelry. 2. To give customers the opportunity to have new jewelry custom made for them, using their old gold at a fraction of the price. 3. To do the type of intricate reconstruction of jewelry most stores will not take in. From the simplest chain repair to the most delicate antique restoration Expert Jewelry Repair & Design is proud to feature Tom Kemp, The Fox Cities' ONLY "Certified Master Bench Jeweler" who can perform these and more.
