Father Dale Grubba is a long-time historian of Central Wisconsin auto racing. He has followed auto racing in the upper Midwest and the NASCAR circuit since the 1960's and been a spiritual advisor to some of America's top race car drivers. He folowed the career of Alan Kulwicki for three decades and wanted to tell the story of Kulwicki's life in "Alan Kulwicki, NASCAR Champion." Besides his interest in auto racing, Father Grubba, a Roman Catholic priest from Princeton, Wisconsin, has spent several decades ministering to the people of central Wisconsin. His book, "Return of Elijah" comes out of that experience and especially his concern about people with mental illness.
