Jean Hill and Jody Littler are a mother-daughter team who have both grown up in the orchard business in Sister Bay, Wisconsin. Living in Door County, where the cherry industry has been an integral part of life for over 100 years, Jean and Jody were inspired to publish a cookbook that would show the delicious versatility of this tasty fruit. They found that collecting and testing recipes for their first cookbook, Cherries Galore, was a rewarding family experience. Part of the challenge of compiling material for this book was to encourage readers to "go beyond" dessert recipes in their use of cherries. Cherries Galore has succeeded in doing that! The next joint venture undertaken by Jean and Jody was to develop a similar cookbook devoted to apple recipes. Apples Everything is truly an apple lover's delight! Some of the recipes in each cookbook were handed down through several generations in their family. Over the years, they have both enjoyed the opportunity to "make memories in the kitchen." We're sure that you will enjoy making family memories of your own along with some very delicious meals when you use these cookbooks.
