I must confess to never having had the real thing in Bavaria, but I decided to order these based on others' positive feedback online. Wow. 10 pounds arrived at my door in California (with expedited service) in 2 business days, some still a bit frozen, others defrosted, but still cold. I immediately re-froze 5#. I kept the defrosted wursts in the fridge and cooked them over the next several days. The skin was tender enough for some to eat, and others ate these wursts in the traditional Bavarian manner by separating the fluffy filling from the skin and discarding the skin. The filling is seasoned beautifully and I'm very impressed with this product as well as the fine customer service from WisconsinMade. Thank you for your excellence in both areas!

The Munich Weisswurst is a Bavarian specialty made from the finest cuts of veal and pork with mild spices. Just heat and serve. Weisswurst is a very tender and super mild bratwurst - use low heat so as not to break open the casing. Approximately 4 bratwurst to a pound. Your choice of 6 pounds or 10 pounds. A delicious addition to your German parties!
