For best results in portraits, make sure the photo you select is large and clear for the artist to see details in the person's face. Photographs taken in natural light (without a flash) provide the best quality reference photos for the artist's drawings. Artist can use several photos to compose the final artwork, such as putting one facial expression on another pose. You will receive your Custom Charcoal Portrait within six weeks after the artist receives your photo(s). Your custom artwork will be matted and ready for framing. The artist prefers not to make duplicates because she believes portraits are more special if they are one-of-a-kind.
