The Home Print by Artist Lee Mothes of Oceans and Dreams left California in 1979, but the essence of the coast there (not the crowds and freeways) has always stayed with him. In this painting he imagined his ideal place along the hilly coast south of Big Sur--an isolated hideaway, with a chicken coop, above a large cove with a creek.
