Personalized University of Wisconsin Bucky Badger Platter

 

Order your special University of Wisconsin graduate, UW alum, or favorite Badger fan a hand painted University of Wisconsin® Plate. The custom plates by Rowe Pottery can be personalized with a special message that will be cherished along with memories of campus life! Plates are available in 10 inch and 15 inch sizes with the University of Wisconsin's mascot--Bucky Badger handpainted in the center.

Each platter is taylored to your specifications. Down below, you will fill in what you would like for the top rim and bottom rim. Many customers choose to have University of Wisconsin written on the top rim and Madison written on the bottom rim of the platter. Each platter is white with black lettering and accents. The center design of Bucky Badger is red and black. The final layout of each personal message is determined by the decorator.

The Rowe Pottery platters are designed in the traditional manner, but have all the features of safety, durability, and versatility characteristic of today's stoneware; they have lead-free glazes and are oven, microwave and dishwasher safe.

Rowe Pottery was established in 1975 in Cambridge, Wisconsin. In the late 1970s, as a two-person pottery studio and shop, sales were made through art fairs and the studio showroom. All the Rowe Pottery was made by hand on the potter's wheel and the pots were fired in the brick kiln out behind the small workshop. Interest in collecting antique cobalt blue decorated salt glaze crocks and jugs was the inspiration to change the studio's pottery product line in early 1980. Rowe Pottery...
