Custom Stepping Stone - Dog Breed

The Custom Stepping Stone - Dog Breed by Mayhew Mosaics will be a lasting reminder of your beloved pet. Each round stepping stone is decorated with stained glass to match your dog's coat as closely as possible. Choose from 25 popular dog breeds in the dropdown below. When you order this item, please provide your email address in the Personalization box below. Nancy Mayhew, the artist, will contact you to provide a photo of your dog and to choose the color for the border of the stone. The stepping stone is grouted and sealed so that it can be outside on your deck, patio, or garden. Please protect this item from damage in harsh winter weather by bringing it inside in the northern and cold climates. The Custom Stepping Stone - Dog Breed is a unique design and individually handcrafted. A beautiful addition to your outdoor garden or a piece of art to be displayed in your home.

As with any work of art, the stepping stone will not be an exact image of your dog, but a close resemblance of the breed. Coat color and distinctive markings will be as close to your dog's appearance as is possible using stained glass. Please allow 2-4 weeks for completion after the artist receives your photo. The cost for each stepping stone is based on the dog breed and the number of pieces of stained glass used. After receiving your photo, the artist may determine that an additional charge is needed depending on the detail and colors required for your stepping stone.

Choose from the following 25 dog breeds for the Custom Stepping Stone: Afghan Hound, Bassett Hound, Beagle, Boston Terrier, Boxer, Chihuahua, Chow Chow, Cocker Spaniel, Dachshund, English Bulldog, German Shepherd, Golden Retriever, Irish Setter, Labrador Retriever, Lhasa Apso, Maltese, Old English Sheepdog, Pomeranian, Poodle, St. Bernard, Samoyed, Schnauzer, Shar Pei, Shih-Tzu, and Siberian Husky.

Mayhew Mosaics was started in 2005 after Nancy Mayhew got the idea of combining her love of flea markets and junk stores with her desire to create mosaics. Her Garden Mosaics have since become a part of her life. One of her first creations started with purchasing a cement turtle and covering it with broken dishes for a Mother's Day present. That was dozens of turtles ago. Nancy's garden turtles and frogs would delight her friends and family. Now she uses broken dishes, glass, tiles, jewelry,...
