Our Danish Dream Sponge Cake by O&H Danish Bakery is aptly named because those who try it say it tastes like a dream. This very moist sponge cake is encrusted on the top with a mixture of coconut and brown sugar topping which carmelizes as it bakes. The Danish Dream Cake originated in a small town in Denmark and rose to fame after winning a baking contest. Our dream cakes are best served at room temperature. Remove the plastic packaging and place on a cutting surface. Then, using a sharp knife, gently cut through the cake. Take a bite and you might find yourself in dreamland. For storage, keep in the refrigerator for up to 10 days or store in freezer for up to 5 months.
