Our top-selling Pecan Kringle is an oval-shaped coffee cake made of many feather-light, flaky layers of Danish pastry and filled with choice pecans. The Christmas Tree shaped coffee cake is filled with pockets of homemade fruit fillings and decorated with Christmas green icing. This is a delightful treat for the holidays.
The Kringle pastry requires a minimum of 3 days preparation. Layer upon layer of Wisconsin creamery butter is folded and rolled into the pastry dough. The result is deliciously rich, yet feather-light and flaky pastry. Each oval Kringle measures 10 1/2 in. x 13 in. and serves 8-12 people. Kringles may be frozen 5-6 months.
