Jocelyn Riley has been chronicling Wisconsin women's history since 1986. Her video stories present women telling their own stories in their own words and often in their own voices. Her work celebrates many different facets of women's history using brilliant, full-color photography, lively music, and flowing narration. Riley honed her narrative skills during a long career as a novelist (Only My Mouth Is Smiling and Crazy Quilt), essayist, and professional scriptwriter. Riley's work has been honored by the Write Women Back Into History Award from the National Women's History Project and the Barb Landers Award from the Association for Gender Equity Leadership in Education. She is Vice-President of the Board of the National Alliance for Partnerships in Equity Educational Foundation.
