Jan Lynn - Artist by Nature -- Copper Cattail Wind Chimes

Greetings ! I am a self- taught Native American Artist. My work has always been influenced by Nature. In the making of the Copper Cattail Wind Chimes I use the elements of WIND, FIRE, EARTH, WATER and COPPER. Before I developed the idea of the Cattail Wind Chimes, I had no knowledge of working with metal. I had to teach myself and learn from my mistakes...yet it was all worth it to see the JOY these chimes create.

Before fulfilling the dream of "Full-time Artist" Jan was a Licensed Optician for 25 years. She has four Children and seven grandchildren. Thanks to the Ford Foundation, Jan was able to patent, trademark and copyright the Copper Cattail Wind Chimes tm, as well as build a studio at her home in Hayward, Wisconsin. Jan Says "Some People Call me a Metal Artist, but really I am just a Broad with a Blowtorch!" It's my way of keeping things in perspective.
