Jeanine Semon is an artist and author, who earned her BFA from the University of Wisconsin - Milwaukee. Married with three grown children, Jeanine lives in Mequon, Wisconsin. Along with her family, art is the priority of her life. She paints images from her inner self that bring both peace and inspiration. An active exhibiting painter for 50 years, some of her artwork is in permanent collections of corporations and hospitals. In recent years she has applied her art to apparel items like scarves and neckties. This wearable art is a new direction for Jeanine to show her art. In addition, she and her husband, Ed, have written several books.
Ms. Semon has received a number of awards, highlighted by a Wisconsin Arts Board grant for her Rain Forest installation, Featured Artist for the Peoria, Illinois public television channel, "Journey", Park City Multi-image Silver award, created with Ralph Carlston and Jesse Semon, and Creation A Dawning, also with Jesse Semon. Her gifted teaching and lecturing has brought forth the creativity of art and decision making from her students.
