Nature and Garden Prints
Mark Janness acquired an interest in photography in 1969 while serving a tour duty in the U.S. Army stationed in Germany. After his discharge from the Army he managed a camera department in Oshkosh and also was the staff photographer for the student newspaper while attending college. He also did wedding and event photography in his early days of photography. Mark has rekindled his love of photography with a complete digital photographic system which includes a large format inkjet printer. His current interests are nature and garden photography. Mark is a member of the North American Nature Photography Association. Most recently, he has won first place in the "Protected Places" category along with an honorable mention in the Wisconsin Trails/Nature Conservancy photo contest. The winning entries are published in the March edition of Wisconsin Trails and also will be displayed in an exhibit touring through out Wisconsin this year. His work has been displayed in a gallery in Oshkosh and is currently displayed commercial offices in the Madison area.
