New Glarus Bakery

The nationally renowned New Glarus Bakery was established here in the Village of New Glarus, Wisconsin in 1912. The current building was built for the bakery in 1916 and is a Registered Historical Landmark of the Village. Offering authentic Swiss and American items, Java Break Inc. dba New Glarus Bakery makes their one-of-a-kind cookies, breads, pastries, donuts & desserts from scratch, just as they have been doing for generations! The New Glarus Bakery is one of the oldest operating bakeries here in Wisconsin that still makes Swiss and American pastries, breads and cookies from scratch.

Original Nut Horns
A little taste of heaven on earth from New Glarus Bakery! Our original nut horns are hand rolled, individually with love! They are a flaky pastry make with cream cheese in the dough and loaded with a ground walnut filling. One dozen pastries.

New Glarus Stollen
Our New Glarus Stollen is a beautiful tradition of incredible taste! We at New Glarus Bakery choose to make our Stollen with only the finest ingredients: almonds, butter marzipan, imported spice, Myers rum and two kinds of raisins. NO candied fruit!
