In 2009, Yvonne Dae Morrissey decided to share her family tradition with the world when she started her own business called Family Products. She continues her family’s culinary tradition by baking her cakes at low heat for over two hours. Each Gramma Ramsey’s fruitcake is filled with raisins, currents, dates and cherries, then soaked for 72 hours in brandy. For even more brandy flavor, the cakes are wrapped in a brandy soaked cheesecloth to keep each cake fresh.
