Wisconsinmade.com Partners with Operation Gratitude to Honor U.S. Military for Veterans Day
FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE:
MADISON, WISCONSIN (10/27/15) –In honor of Veterans Day, a Madison area business, Wisconsinmade.com, wants to recognize the American troops who make sacrifices, sometimes the ultimate, so the rest of us can enjoy our freedom. Wisconsinmade.com will donate $1 to Operation Gratitude for every new "Like" on their Facebook page and new Twitter follower from October 27 – November 11, up to $1,000.
Operation Gratitude, founded in 2003 by Carolyn Blashek, is a non-profit organization that sends more than 100,000 care packages annually to deployed troops and organizes programs to support veterans, wounded warriors, new recruits and first responders. The care packages include food, hygiene products, letters of appreciation, as well as entertainment and hand-made items.
For five years now, Wisconsinmade.com raised $1,000 each year for Operation Gratitude. Following the partnership, the online gourmet food and gift store saw an increase in orders shipping to military addresses overseas. Be sure to view all of our military gifts that ship APO/FPO. In response to the positive feedback on the Wisconsin gifts for soldiers, Wisconsinmade.com President Linda Remeschatis says, "I'm proud to see a taste of Wisconsin delivered to the brave men and women who are serving our country."
