| Pielsticker Photos
Bill Pielsticker is an award-winning photographer from rural Lodi, Wisconsin. "Being a self-taught photographer, I tend to take a different tack than others. Nature photography is the love of my life. Using a Sinar monorail for a 'field' camera, my large format landscape work focuses on the intimate rather than the grand. Often I use a combination of light and perspective to achieve depth in an otherwise 2-dimensional medium." Shooting in 35 mm using Nikon F3 & F4 cameras and various lenses, Pielsticker travels around the region to capture wildlife in their natural habitat, including bald eagles along the Wisconsin River. When not making new photographs, Pielsticker serves as President of Wisconsin Trout Unlimited and as policy co-chair for the Wisconsin Buffer Initiative. He has served on several state advisory committees and was the founding President of the Wisconsin League of Conservation Voters. | |||||||||||||||||
