Deliciously tart cranberry muffins sweetened with a sugar and cinnamon struesel topping
1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees
2. Grease 12-cup muffin tin
3. Place struesel ingredients in a small mixing bowl
4. Work butter into dry ingredients until mixture is crumbly by using a pastry fork or blender
5. Set aside
6. Combine flour, sugar, baking powder and salt in a medium mixing bowl
7. Stir in cranberries and walnuts
8. Combine remaining ingredients in a separate mixing bowl
9. Add to dry ingredients, mixing just until moist
10. Sprinkle struesel on each muffin
11. Bake for 25-30 minutes or until golden brown
12. Remove from tins; cool
