Cows: A Closer Look is a photographic essay of Holstein cows as they've rarely been depicted before. Fine art photographer Paul Thoresen captures the essence of cows with his camera in both black and white, and color photos. The author has been photographing Holstein cattle for more than five decades on several southern Wisconsin family farms.
