General Cooking Instructions for Klement's State Street Brats

| Steam |
|
| Heat Sausage by dropping into boiling water.
Turn off heat – Do not boil. Approx cooking time 10 minutes. |
| Fry |
|
| Place butter or shortening in skillet with sausage.
Cook over low heat for 5 -8 minutes. Never puncture sausage with a
fork, always use tongs when turning so the sausage will retain its
natural juices. |
| Broil |
|
|
Cover bottom of broiler pan with water. Place sausage on rack 5
– 6” from broiler element. Broil approximately 5-8 minutes or until
brown and crispy.

| Grill |
|
|
Brown gently over low embers on a charcoal grill, using tongs when
turning sausage. Cooking time approximately 5 – 8 minutes.
