Westboro, Wisconsin. Cutting Boards WI started when Coby and Denise Johnson made several cutting boards out of Corian® to sell at a local farmer's market. Their cutting boards were so popular that people couldn't get enough. The Johnsons purchase scrap Corian pieces, cut them to size, sand them for signature smoothness and cut a juice trough around the board's perimeter. In 2011, they purchased a CNC machine to personalize their boards.
Corian is the perfect material for cutting boards because it is nonporous and doesn't absorb odors. It doesn't stain and bacteria can't grow on its surface. Corian is NSF approved for food use. Not just a cutting board, corian cutting boards can be heated up like a trivet or chilled to be a cold serving platter.
