Milwaukee, Wisconsin. Knights Gourmet Popcorn started in Milwaukee on the porch of Ted and Llewellyn D. Knight. Time was, people would come to the porch, knock on the window and Ted would sell popcorn from his living room. Over time, Lou opened a store at 9th and Mitchell. But the company kept growing, so Knights Popcorn moved to its present location in 1988. Ted and Lou later retired and sold the business and popcorn-making formulas.
Knights Popcorn kept the tradition of making popcorn with only the finest corn and oils, sometimes experimenting with different oils to get the perfect flavor. Today's recipe is cholesterol-free, transfat-free and low in saturated fats and sodium. It also tastes great! Midwestern transplants still call home to order this great tasting snack.
