Wittenberg, Wisconsin. Nueske's started in 1933 when R.C. Nueske started selling his smoked meats out of the back of his truck. Though it was the height of the Great Depression, people still knew good smoked meat when they tasted it.
Today, Nueske's is still owned and operated by the family using the same smoked meat recipe Grandpa R.C. used. They select meats and spices of the highest quality, which is still the primary consideration, and patiently provide the perfect blend of time and temperature for a product of unequaled excellence.
