"Southerner loves Kringle"
12/7/2017 By blimpwood

My wife's cousins have been sending Kringles to us for 40+ years and it ALWAYS makes a pleasant special desert to share with guests. My wife's cousins are retired dairy farmers and they have made our Christmases very special and now we are passing the tradition to the next generation here in the shadows of Kennesaw Mountain in Georgia.

This was sent as a 'thank you' and person who received it LOVED it. Love the 'Wisconsin Kringle'!!

Our friends who received it are from PA. They had never heard of Kringle before and were thoroughly over joyed to relieve it on the same evening they were having a few guests. They raved about the apple cinnamon Kringle, even though I had ordered the holiday cranberry cherry one. I will order from you in the future, as our friends were so delighted with it! They were also impressed with the personal, hand delivery of the item. I love WI, my home State and I love Kringle, too!

Wisconsin State Kringle

Kringle has been declared the Wisconsin State Pastry and our Wisconsin State Kringle was created with ingredients farmed and grown in Wisconsin. This outstanding Kringle by O & H Danish Bakery combines cream cheese, Door County cherries and cranberries as the filling for this Danish pastry. Layer upon layer of golden Wisconsin creamery butter is folded and rolled into the pastry dough to create feather-light pastry. You will enjoy a true blend of Wisconsin flavors in this creamy, sweet and tart Kringle. Kringles are great for breakfast, brunch, or served with coffee after any meal. Kringle is also popular for meetings and gatherings. We recommend refrigerating or freezing Kringle when storing. To warm, remove from package and place in a 350 degree oven for approximately 3-minutes or warm, as necessary, in a microwave oven. Cut into 1 or 2-inch slices depending on appetite and occasion.

In 1949, the 0 & H Danish Bakery was founded by Christian Olesen in Racine, Wisconsin. Home to one of the largest Danish populations in the United States and now known for the danish kringle. One of thousands who immigrated here from Denmark, Chris brought with him the "Old World" Danish pride and commitment to quality that have become 0 & H Danish Bakery hallmarks.
