Something for Everyone traces the history of the Lauerman Brothers Store from its humble beginnings in Marinette, Wisconsin to its growth as a department store chain in the upper Midwest. Established in 1890, the store offered diverse merchandise, superior customer service and employee loyalty. It was a vital part of Marinette for nearly 100 years. Written by Michael Leannah, a onetime Lauerman employee, this book brings to life the people who worked and shopped at Lauermans, and tells the larger story of the golden age of department stores in the United States and transports readers back to their own favorite shopping destinations.
