Lyle Lahey's acerbic comments on the Green Bay Packers, the players, the coaches and the fans, have appeared in the Brown County Chronicle and its successor, The Green Bay News Chronicle from 1968 through the 1997 Super Bowl Championship. Lahey was born in 1931 in Abrams, Wisconsin. After a tour of duty with the U.S. Army in Korea, he completed a degree in journalism at the University of Wisconsin-Madison. Lahey served 13 years as a promotion manager at WBAY-TV in Green Bay, Wisconsin. Then in 1968, Lahey began contributing editorial cartoons to the Brown County Chronicle. Since 1976 he has been editorial cartoonist for the Green Bay News Chronicle.
