The founders Jolanta Sonkin and Amelia Kirchoff of GoMacro credit their macrobiotic diets with not only improving their health but also combating diseases that they and their loved ones had been diagnosed with.

Amelia grew up on a farm so she decided to purchase a farm of her own. She started to experiment with natural, unrefined sweeteners from the grains and fruits that she grew. They now have a variety of nutritious, sweet desserts and snacks that began MacroTreats.
