It is billed as the Cheese Cut Out Capital of the World, with 400 to 500 different types of sculptures sold to 2,000 wholesale accounts in 48 states. The company has been making the popular sculptures for about 25 years, starting with a heart shape. The high quality detail on the shapes is what makes them sell.
Jim's father, the late Jim Sr., started the company in 1955. His father instilled a sense of pride in quality products and workmanship. "He started with four customers and we still service three of them today," said Jim, who took over the business about 25 years ago. "That shows we are doing something right. We have grown through the years by keeping our standards high and using Wisconsin cheese. We pride ourselves on that."
