Mozart: The Early Concerti - 2 CD Set

Mozart: The Early Concerti is a 2 CD Set performed by the Wisconsin Symphony Orchestra under the direction of conductor Andrew Sewell and featuring American pianist, Adam Neiman. The Salzburg Concertos are three of Mozart's early concertos (No. 6, 8, and 9) composed in 1776, and Symphony No. 38 "Prague" was composed in 1787. These early concert pieces show the evolution of Mozart's genius as a gifted and innovative composer.

This recording was made in the WCO's Capitol Theater of Madison's Overture Center for the Arts, and engineered by Madison-based Audio for the Arts. 2 CD's. 103 minutes total. Disc 1 includes Piano Concerto No. 6 in B Flat Major, K.238 and Piano Concerto No. 9 in E Flat Major, K.271. Disc 2 includes Piano Concerto No. 8 in C Major, K.246 and Symphony No. 38 in D Major, K.508 "Prague."

Adam Neiman's piano expertise and the WCO orchestral talent are an exceptionally strong and assertive collaboration. Mozart: The Early Concerti - 2 CD Set is perfect for every Mozart lover.
