Northwoods Cheese Garlic Mashed Potatoes

An extra-special way to make mashed potatoes that the whole family will enjoy!

Cook Time: 25 Minutes
Total Time: 40 Minutes
Serves: 8-10

Ingredients

  • 8 large potatoes
  • 1/2 cup milk
  • 1 bay leaf
  • 1 pinch salt
  • 4 Tbsp butter
  • 1/4 cup heavy cream
  • 1 egg yolk
  • 1 - 6 oz Northwoods Cheese Roasted Garlic, shredded
  • salt and pepper

Directions

  1. Peel (if desired) and chunk the potatoes, place in a large pot of boiling water
  2. Add milk, bay leaf and pinch of salt
  3. Cook until potatoes are soft, about 25 minutes
  4. Drain and remove bay leaf
  5. Add butter, heavy cream and Northwoods Roasted Garlic Cheese
  6. Mash until smooth
  7. Stir in egg yolk, salt and pepper to taste
