Proper seasoning: Use mineral oil and hand washing for years of use
Complete sizing is as follows: For the 16-inch peel --> paddle is 16 inches wide, 18 inches long, and 26 inches overall with an 8-inch handle (included in measurement).
For the 14-inch peel --> paddle is 14 inches wide, 16 inches long, and 24 inches overall with an 8-inch handle (included in measurement).
Both peels are 3/4 inches thick and tapers down to 1/4 inch at one edge.

Pizza Peel Quality
We are very happy with our purchase of this locally crafted pizza peel. We were debating ordering a less expensive peel from a large distribution company, but decided to purchase a hand crafted peel. When it arrived there was no question that this peel was a quality product made with fine attention to detail and finish. The pizza peel was also made out of cherry right here in Wisconsin. This is a lifetime kitchen tool.

Amazing Quality
I shopped around for pizza peels from all the big name stores and couldn’t find anything I was looking for. Decided to shop local and was extremely happy I did. This peel is of the highest quality I could have ever expected. Almost to beautiful to use. gorgeous, perfect weight and size for large pizzas!
I was looking for a pizza peel large enough to use with my 16" pizza stone on my outdoor grill. This is a beautifully crafted item that is perfect for large pizzas and cheese boards. I was worried that it would be too heavy to handle but it is light while still still feeling sturdy - perfectly balanced! I oiled it with a butcher block oil which further brought out the beauty of the wood.
