The Sheep Cheese Gift Box by Cedar Grove Cheese contains 3 distinctive sheep cheese varieties with a European flair. This gift box includes half pound (.5lbs) each of Banquo, Fleance, and Montage Cheeses. Banquo is 100% sheep milk cheese with natural rind, similar to Ossau Iraty, a French cheese with a firm texture and buttery, nutty flavor. Serve Banquo with apples or pears, cured meats like prosciutto, fresh vegetables or olives along with a robust wine. Fleance has a mild, nutty flavor and is aged a minimum of 60 days. Similar to a Manchego cheese from Spain, Fleance has a firm consistency and buttery texture. Serve Fleance with olives, sun dried tomatoes and crusty bread, or as a dessert with fruit - it goes well with robust red wine or dry sherry. Montage is a proprietary blend of cow and sheep cheese giving it a rich, mild flavor. Serve Montage with crusty bread and olives along with a dry wine. Shelf life is 6 months.
