The Wisconsin Master Cheesemaker program is modeled after similar programs in Europe, but Wisconsin is the only state to grant this distinguished honor. 2012 World Championship Cheese Contest Winners
Wisconsin cheese took high honors at the World Championship Cheese Contest in March of 2012. Winning awards at this year's contest was especially exciting for Wisconsin cheesemakers since the contest received a record 2,313 entries.
