Kohler, Wisconsin. After observing the creation of chocolates in a nearby community, Herb Kohler decided that the world needed a better "Turtle." He discussed the idea with Ulrich Koberstein, Group Direction of Culinary Arts at The American Club®, the Midwest's only AAA Five Diamond resort hotel. Together, they started the process of creating the best chocolate in the world. Hundreds of samples later, most of which were taste-tested by Herb and Ulrich, they launched Kohler Chocolates with Terrapins. Their chocolates were first introduced to guests at The American Club, and have grown so popular people from all over the country order them.
