It is ideal for most steak knife sets and will keep them safe and handy on your table. As with all our blocks, a clear lacquer varnish ensures a long-lasting, durable finish. Felt dots on the bottom keep your table surface from being scratched.
IMPORTANT MEASUREMENTS:
Knife block measures 6.5 in. high by 4 in. wide
Knife block is 3 inches thick

If shipping to a PO Box: Please include PO Box address in 2nd address line of shipping address at checkout.
Please note that no stain is used on any of our wood pieces. All woods are shown in their natural colors and are finished with a clear lacquer. The lacquer does not change the natural color of the wood. Cherry will naturally darken with age and become a deeper red. Walnut is a deep brown, and red oak is a light tan. Please take time to look at the photos, which illustrate the natural colors of the various woods.

HOW TO CHECK IF YOUR KNIVES WILL FIT
To ensure your steak knives fit properly in this block, we recommend taking a quick measurement before ordering:
- Measure the blade width (height):
Measure from the cutting edge of the blade to the top (spine). This must be less than 7/8 inch. - Measure the blade thickness:
Measure the thickness of the blade (not the handle). This must be less than 1/8 inch. - Measure the blade length:
Measure from the tip of the blade to where the blade meets the handle. This must be 6 inches or less to fully fit into the slot. - Check the handle shape:
If your knives have bulky or curved handles, make sure they won’t interfere with the block when inserted.
Tip: For the best fit, allow a little extra clearance (don’t cut it too close to the maximum measurements).

Steak Knife Block
I've been looking for a knife holder for my steak knives that is made of wood and doesn't take up a lot of space. The handcrafted holder I found here is perfect. It's both very well made and the wood is beautifully finished. It is truly an item made with a lot of care and skill. The price was great and the transaction was handled very well. I'm totally pleased.
