How long will shipping take?

WisconsinMade offers the following shipping options and delivery estimates for your order:

STANDARD – Delivery estimate is 5-10 business days.
EXPEDITED – Delivery estimate is 3-4 business days.

Overnight Shipping (one day in transit) is available only for a very limited range of products. You must call to request overnight shipping and authorize our office to charge your credit card the additional overnight shipping charge. Overnight orders must be approved and placed before 10:00 AM CST to be able to be delivered the following day. Some artisans have restrictions on the days they ship or the lead time they need. These restrictions are posted on the product pages.

WisconsinMade is not responsible for delays caused by inclement weather conditions.

What is expedited shipping?

Expedited Shipping at WisconsinMade Artisan Collective means the package will be in transit for 3-4 days before arriving at its destination. This is a couple days shorter than Standard Shipping at WisconsinMade, which can take up to 7 days for delivery. Several of WisconsinMade's artisans will only ship at certain times of the week, so selecting Expedited Shipping does not guarantee immediate shipping and delivery. Products that only ship certain times of the week will say as such in their listings. Please note that Expedited Shipping is NOT overnight shipping.

Why do I need expedited shipping if my order is not shipping right away?

Some items require expedited shipping to ensure that the product will arrive fresh within 3-4 days of being shipped. This ensures the product does not spend more time than necessary in-transit or sits in a shipping warehouse over the weekend.

Products that only ship certain times of the week will say as such in their listings.

Why can't I choose standard shipping with my order?

Some of our products require expedited shipping to ensure that they arrive fresh. If this is the case, then standard shipping will remain unavailable during checkout.

How do I know my order shipped?

After your order is processed and the order has shipped, we will automatically send an email to the email address you provided. This email will contain the following information: Order Number, Ship Date, Ship-To, Product Ordered, Carrier, and the Tracking Number with a link to check the status of the package.

If your order contains products from multiple artisans, you will receive multiple packages.

What is the cost to ship?

Shipping and handling charges are calculated on the weight of the product, the distance it's traveling and the size of the box it's shipping in. Some perishable products require shipment in a cooler to ensure freshness when it arrives; the cost of extra materials is included in the cost of shipping. Depending on the artisan partner fulfilling the order, packages ship either FedEx, UPS or USPS. We set our rates to approximate the rates charged to us by our delivery service providers.

Orders with WisconsinMade Artisan Collective are processed promptly and shipped directly to you from our artisans. We monitor all orders to ensure they are shipped in a timely manner. Shipping time does not include holidays, weekends or the day you place the order. Allow 2-3 days for processing after an order is placed.

Where can WisconsinMade products be shipped?

WisconsinMade currently ships products only within the United States. Shipping to Alaska and Hawaii requires an additional 3 days for delivery. Not all products are available for shipping to Alaska and Hawaii and expedited shipping is not available. Many items, especially perishable products, require additional shipping charges. Customers will be notified after order is placed if there is an additional ship cost. Addresses must be to a physical street location and not to a PO box.

Do you ship to hospitals?

WisconsinMade strongly discourages shipping to hospitals. Hospitals receive packages in a loading dock, where they will eventually be sorted. By the time the patient has received the package there is a high probability that the they have been discharged or released. Instead we recommend shipping the product to an alternate address or the patient's home.

Do you ship to military bases?

WisconsinMade Artisan Collective ships to military addresses. If you wish to send a perishable product, please make sure it is approved to be shipped to that military address. APO/FPO shipments are handled through the United States Post Office (USPS).

APO stands for the army Post Office and is associated with Army or Air Force installations.
FPO stands for Fleet Post Office and is associated with Navy installations and ships.
DPO stands for Diplomatic Post Office and is associated with U.S. Diplomatic locations.

We do not guarantee products shipped to other countries via a 3rd party expediter. Our products are packaged and shipped only for delivery in the U.S.

Can you ship internationally? Do you accept international credit cards?

Unfortunately, we do not ship internationally, and do not currently accept international bank or credit cards.

Where can I find my tracking information?

You can find your tracking information in the tracking email we send when the order ships. If you have an account with WisconsinMade Artisan Collective, you can check the status of your order through your account under "Orders."

How will my order be delivered?

Shipping methods vary depending on the supplier. The primary shippers that are used by Artisans of our WisconsinMade Artisan Collective are UPS, FedEx and USPS.

What is the fee if my "ship-to" address is incorrect and the package has to be rerouted?

Customers will be charged a $12.50 fee to have packages re-routed if an incorrect or incomplete address was entered.

Due to the nature of several of our products, some packages cannot be re-routed if they were shipped expedited or have been in transit for a couple days. Call us at (877) 947-6233 if you have a package that was sent to the incorrect shipping address.

If I ship a product to an expediter, will the product be guaranteed?

If an expediter is used to forward an order to another address, either in the US or a different country, WisconsinMade does not guarantee the quality of the product upon delivery.

I'd like to visit your store. Where are you located?

While we would love to see your beautiful faces, we do not have a space for the public to come in and view our products. Our only official location is a couple rooms in a private office building which is not open to the public.

Can I pick up my order instead of getting it shipped?

We are unable to accommodate order pick ups. Our artisans fulfill the orders placed with us; many of them work out of their homes and do not have an official shop.

Can I include a gift message with my purchase?

Yes. During the checkout process, you will see a field where you may input a Gift Message after you input a shipping address. Use this field to type in your gift message. Please do not forget to sign your name! Our artisans write your gift message on a gift card that is placed within the gift package.

What is the WisconsinMade Guarantee?

As our customer, your satisfaction is of the utmost importance to us. So our satisfaction guarantee is straight forward, you will be 100% satisfied with the product or service you receive from us, or you can return it to us, request us to reship or give you a credit.

Should a perishable item not meet the customer's satisfaction we will replace it with a similar item, offer a credit towards future purchases, or refund the item purchase price, excluding delivery charges.

Should a nonperishable item not meet the customer's satisfaction we will accept returns for exchange, credit towards another purchase or refund via original method of payment, excluding delivery charges.

This guarantee applies only to our products delivered to shipping addresses in the US and to our APO/FPO approved products delivered to APO/FPO addresses

Can I return or exchange an item?

As our customer, your satisfaction is of the utmost importance to us. Our satisfaction guarantee is straight forward, you will be 100% satisfied with the product or service you receive from us, or you can return it to us, request a reshipment or ask for store credit.

Should a perishable item not meet the customer's satisfaction we will replace it with a similar item, offer a credit towards future purchases, or refund the item purchase price, excluding delivery charges. We do not accept returns on perishable items.

Should a nonperishable item not meet the customer's satisfaction we will accept returns for exchange, credit towards another purchase or refund via original method of payment, excluding delivery charges.

Returns must be received within 30 days from the date of purchase. (Products received as holiday gifts must be returned, exchanged, or refunded by the end of the following month. Christmas gifts must be returned, exchanged, or refunded by January 31.)

Can you send me a catalog?

We do not offer paper catalogs to send to customers. Our product line is available online 24/7/365 through our website If you'd like to browse our offerings, you can do so on our website.

How do I redeem my gift certificate?

You can redeem your gift certificate and coupon codes during checkout. In the box labeled "Order Summary" click "Coupon/Gift Certificate" and input the code in the field. Click "Apply" to apply the amount to your order. The new order total will appear at the bottom of the Order Summary box. Finish checking out like normal.

If the gift certificate is not enough to cover the cost of purchase, please input your credit card to complete the purchase.

If the amount of the purchase is less than the amount on the gift certificate, the remainder will remain on the card until your next purchase.

Can I customize a gift basket?

Unfortunately, we are unable to customize gift baskets. We apologize for the inconvenience.

How will my gift be packaged?

Orders are packed with a focus on quality, safety and preserving the freshness of the product in shipping. This is to ensure that your gift will arrive in the best condition possible. Included in the package is a promotional brochure from WisconsinMade Artisan Collective, a note card that will include a gift message if you have one and a packing slip. The packing slip only states who the recipient is and what product was ordered for them. No pricing is included in the package.

What is pasteurized process cheese?

Pasteurized process cheese food is a variation of processed cheese that may have dry milk, whey solids, or anhydrous milk fat added, which reduces the amount of cheese in the finished product. It must contain at least 51% of the cheese ingredient by weight, have a moisture content less than 44%, and have at least 23% milk fat.

Why can't I order cheese or chocolate during certain times of the year?

Due to weather conditions and the possibility of the product (cheese and chocolate in particular) reaching its destination in a distressed state, there will be times throughout the summer months when WisconsinMade Artisan Collective will be unable to ship these items. Whenever this is the case there will be a message on the item page letting you know this. This is to ensure the integrity and quality of all WisconsinMade products.

What discounts are available for corporate orders?

Corporate discounts are available on orders of $1000 or more. Please email or call our Corporate Accounts Representative so that we may offer the personal attention you need. We try to make it as easy as possible for you.

What is the easiest way to place an order for more than 20 recipients?

The easiest way is to contact our Corporate Accounts Representative about a 4-6 weeks before you'd like your order to arrive. Tell us which item(s) you would like to order, how many addresses you are looking to send to and approximately which date you would like the items to arrive. This is to ensure our artisan has ample time to prepare.

We will send you a spreadsheet where you will fill in recipient information (name, full addresses, phone number, item to send and gift message). Fill in this information and send it back to our Corporate Accounts Representative. We will add it into our system and call you to process payment over the phone.

A confirmation email will be sent once the order is processed and is being prepared. You will receive another email with tracking information when the order ships.

Will my personal information ever be given to third parties?

We will not sell, trade, rent or give individually identifying information to third parties. We may provide aggregate statistics about our visitors, database entries, web traffic patterns and related site information to our artisans and potential artisans, but these statistics will not include any personally identifying information.

Will I be charged sales tax on my purchase?

Only orders shipped to Wisconsin addresses are subject to sales tax. On those orders sales tax is applied to all nonfood items, and some food items based on Wisconsin State Tax Laws. If sales tax is applicable, then tax is applied to the shipping costs as well.

Is the price included on the packing slip?

No, we do not include your purchase price on the packing slip. We treat every order as if it is a gift, so the recipient will not know what you spent on the product and shipping.

May I use two different promotion codes?

You can only use one coupon code at a time. Multiple use coupon codes can be used on consecutive orders. Single use promotion codes may only be used once per customer. Multi accounting is a direct violation of our terms and conditions. WisconsinMade explicitly prohibits having more than one account. Violating terms and conditions may result in cancellation of orders.

How do I add multiple shipping addresses?

You must sign up for an account with us in order to ship to multiple addresses. After logging in, you can add addresses from your account page by clicking "Addresses" then "Add New Address." Complete the form and click "Save Address." The address will now be available for shipping and billing during check out.

You can also add multiple shipping addresses during the checkout process provided you are already logged in. Click "ship to multiple addresses" to the right of the "shipping address" header. A drop down menu will allow you to choose from your account address book or add a new address. You will also assign products to their desired recipient address.

Are all of your products made in Wisconsin?

At WisconsinMade Artisan Collective, our goal is to provide the best of Wisconsin to the rest of the United States. Our definition of "Made in Wisconsin" depends on the type of item.

Food Items: We permit the use of ingredients from outside of the state as long as the final product is created in Wisconsin.

Gift Baskets: We require that at least 80% of the contents in a WisconsinMade gift assortments are made in Wisconsin. Usually the items in the assortment that aren't "Made in Wisconsin" are crackers and the container itself. We would never leave the cheese and sausage making to anyone else!

Wisconsin Sports Merchandise and Apparel: WisconsinMade started out with a focus on food and crafts but our customers insisted that it's just not Wisconsin without our major sports teams: the Green Bay Packers, Wisconsin Badgers, Milwaukee Brewers, and Milwaukee Bucks..

While we attempted to keep these Wisconsin-themed products local, a few key items had to be sourced outside of the state. Items like t-shirts, caps and sports merchandise have been sourced through several small Wisconsin businesses but made elsewhere. Even though the actual shirt, hat or non-apparel item might be made elsewhere, licensing revenue from Wisconsin sports merchandise still supports your favorite Wisconsin teams.

Literature and Toys: All books, calendars, Games, Toys, and puzzles featured on WisconsinMade fit into one of the following categories.

    • Written by a Wisconsin-based author or created/designed by a Wisconsin-based company
    • About Wisconsin, or has content where Wisconsin is prominently featured
    • Published in Wisconsin
    • Printed or manufactured in Wisconsin

Arts and Crafts: All of our artisans create their final products here in Wisconsin. Some crafters use mainly Wisconsin materials in their work; these crafters are noted as such on their artisan profiles or artisan pages.

Packaging: Baskets, boxes, tins, bags and other packaging may or may not be made in Wisconsin. When it is, we try to mention it.

Do you have a sizing chart for your apparel?

WisconsinMade Artisan Collective carries several different brands of apparel, and it is difficult to maintain a different sizing chart for each piece of clothing. Listed below is a generic size chart that may help you make your decisions on what size to purchase. Remember, some brands may run smaller than the sizes listed below.
