1. Steam: Heat sausage by dropping into boiling water
2. Turn off heat - Do not boil
3. Approximate cooking time 10 minutes
4. Fry: Place butter or shortening in skillet with sausage
5. Cook over low heat for 5-8 minutes
6. Never puncture sausage with a fork, always use tongs when turning so the sausage will retain its natural juices
7. Broil: Cover bottom of broiler pan with water
8. Place sausage on rack 5-6-inches from broiler element
9. Broil approximately 5-8 minutes or until brown and crispy
10. Grill: Brown gently over low embers on a charcoal grill, using tongs when turning sausage
11. Cooking time approximately 5-8 minutes
