Handcrafted Woodworks Inspired and Made in the Northwoods
Sarona, Wisconsin. David Haessig began his career as a woodworker in 1976 by building custom furniture. He branched into sculptural and functional pieces and exhibiting them at fine art and craft fairs around the county. Creating new ideas and products is a challenge David excels at. Jeneice met David in 1979 while working at the University of Wisconsin-Madison. They married in 1984 and Jeniece became a full-time woodworker in 1989. In 1994, they moved their studio to Sarona, Wisconsin, where they currently reside.
Each piece of wood is handcrafted by the two of them using original designs. Each piece is made with the finest domestic hardwoods and highly polished with a natural finish. Their designs are inspired by the trees and simple beauty that is so natural to find in Wisconsin's Northwoods.
