Smoked Ham and Onion Quiche

Applewood Smoked Nueske Ham gives this classic quiche a wonderful flavor that your family and guests are sure to enjoy!

Total Time: 45 Minutes
Serves: 6-8


  • 3/4 cup Nueske smoked ham, finely diced in 1/4-inch cubes
  • 1 cup Saltine cracker crumbs
  • 1/4 cup butter, melted
  • 2 cups Vidalia onions, sliced thin
  • 2 Tbsp butter
  • 3/4 cup milk
  • 2 large eggs, beaten slightly
  • 1/4 tsp salt
  • 1 cup sharp cheddar cheese, shredded
  • dash of pepper
  • dash of paprika


  1. Place cracker crumbs and melted butter in 8-inch pie plate; mix and pat to form crust
  2. Cook onions in 2 tablespoons butter until tender (not brown)
  3. In small bowl, combine milk, eggs, salt and pepper
  4. Mix onions and ham gently, transfer to crust
  5. Pour egg mixture over top
  6. Sprinkle with cheese and paprika
  7. Bake at 350 degrees for 30 minutes
