"Dear John...Love Letters and Lessons Learned from the Wife of an Alcoholic" is a book about a loving relationship that was transformed and torn apart by the tragedy of alcoholism. It was written by Mary Gjetson Levin with the permission of Catherine Turmo Forde. Mary and Catherine have been good friends since college years at the University of Wisconsin - Madison in the 1960's. As good friends, they have shared much over the years, and thus, it was natural for them to collaborate on this book.
